Rainey & the Midnight Players is a
refreshing band playing the last 18
years in San Diego, Los Angeles, San
Francisco, and Las Vegas clubs. The
bands original sound of blues is
soulful, with a groove, that will make
you want to get up and dance.

Len Rainey's Chicago upbringing has
artistically melded blues, jazz, and
rock & roll. The combination of
Rainey's authoritative voice and
nimble rock steady bass work, creates
a sound that you will never forget.

Len Rainey and the Midnight Players
have been repeat performers at major
clubs in the Southern Califronia area,
including BB King's Hollywood,
Harvelle's in Santa Monica, and LJ's in
San Francisco. Nearly all of the San
Diego clubs have hosted Len Rainey &
the Midnight Players many times. The
band has opened for world class acts
such as: Bobby Blue Bland,
JohnMayall, Chaka Khan, B.B. King,
Buddy Guy, Robert Cray and many

The band's third CD, "Better Love
Somebody", recorded at Golden Track
Studios, and with a new record label,
J.A.M Records, has garnered major
attention from the music industry.

Little Rock, AR at Studio Joe's June 18th.
Len is stopping by coming from a Chicago
Blues Show, on his way back to his home
in San Diego, CA.

Mike Dollins on guitar. David Bishop from
